Greg DeMarco’s Bold Predictions for WWE Money In The Bank

June 14, 2015 | Posted by Greg De Marco

411Mania’s Greg DeMarco gets you ready for Sunday’s WWE Money In The Bank in style with his B.O.L.D. Predictions!

On Sunday, June 14th, the WWE presents their annual Money In The Bank pay-per-view, or as some might call it, the now really really really watered down concept that we used to love.

Money In The Bank follows the up and down Elimination Chamber event, which featured 2015’s incarnation of the Dusty Finish (rest in peace, Dream). Money In The Bank comes only two weeks after the Chamber event, and it does indeed feel rushed. Hell, we didn’t even get qualifying matches for the briefcase match!

So precisely what is going to happen at Money In The Bank on Sunday? For answers to that question you should check out our 411Mania Roundtable Preview!

Because contained below are bold predictions for the event. Not likely to happen, these are indeed B.O.L.D.: Bullheaded, Outlandish, Lascivious, and Deplorable. But if one hits, I can promise you’ll never hear the end of it!

By the way, about that above promise. Did you know I went THREE-FOR-FIVE last time??? Yes, in the article where I’m not supposed to be right, I BOLDly predicted that Nikki Bella would win, that John Cena would lose and that Mark Freaking Henry would return!

How’s about we start with a doozy???

Who is Money In The Bank most famous for? Edge? Seth Rollins? NO!

CM Punk is a two-time briefcase holder, both won at the WrestleMania incarnation of Money In The Bank. He also sorta drove the wrestling world crazy—in a good way—with his victory over John Cena at the 2011 Money In The Bank.

Now hear me out…

Despite the Internet Wrestling Community’s claims, Vince McMahon loves making money. And CM Punk hates to lose. Well Vince is entering a period of an insane amount of professional wrestling out for the world to see. Ring of Honor has a cable television deal (two actually). Lucha Underground is for today’s wrestling hipster. Impact Wrestling’s ratings are steadily going up on Wednesday nights. Even Jeff Jarrett’s money pit has started touring. This has all stolen some of Vince’s Sports Entertainment giant’s spotlight!

So what’s a guy to do?

Bring back CM Punk. And AJ Lee.

And I said CM Punk hates to lose, right? Well he’s most certainly doing that, for reals, in the UFC.

So why not.

Plus, if “what we all expect to happen” happens at Money In The Bank, The Authority might be left with Kane at the helm, or Kane to feud with. So why not build your next yearlong storyline, with The New Power Couple of CM Punk and AJ Lee (brought in by Vince himself) opposite The Real Power Couple of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Now that…THAT’S BOLD!

LOLNIKKILOSES

I told you all last month that Nikki Bella was going to beat Naomi and Paige, and what did she do? She won. That’s because she’s breaking AJ Lee’s record. The WWE doesn’t want that record to be on AJ, and Nikki’s kinda dating John Cena and stuff, so she gets the record.

OR DOES SHE?!?!?

Nope. Vince isn’t that petty after all! LOL, Nikki loses and PAIGE herself goes on to break the record previously held by AJ Lee.

Why?

Because #GiveDivasAChance, that’s why.

LOLCENAWINS

Last month I told everyone that John Cena would lose to Kevin Owens—and he did! Now if you take a survey of the internet, you’ll see more than half of the analysts picking Kevin Owens. Why?

“The right people seem to realize that Kevin Owens is potential money. Having him beat Cena again will permanently cement him as a main eventer.”

“I think Kevin Owens is going to get another win here and put Cena against the wall to make things interesting.”

“I really hope WWE is smart enough this time to realize that Owens needs to win clean again”

Umm…last time I checked (Wikipedia) the man’s name is still John Felix Anthony Cena. And that means LOL CENA WINS!

Kevin Owens IS in fact money. So was Bray Wyatt. So was Rusev. So was Cesaro. So is so many other people that John Cena could build by putting over in a big way.

Well he actually did that to Kevin Owens already. In fact, John Cena has NEVER beaten Kevin Owens. Well that time is up, the time (to job) is now.

LOLCENAWINS.

Return Of The Monster

I said it last month, and I’m saying it again. Kane needs to have another run as the monster. Why not at Money In The Bank? He’s slowly teasing a split from The Authority. He’s in the match to keep Roman Reigns from winning, right?

Well if “what we all expect to happen” happens, where does that leave Kane? He now has to overcome the odds himself, and he can do that as the demon.

Plus, at 48-years old, Kane is hanging those boots up and moving to Orlando sooner rather than later. And do you want to see him retire as Corporate Kane?

Me neither.

Money In The Bank Participant #8 Is…

Finn Balor debuts on the main roster…

…just kidding!

(And yes, I am going to work this in as often as I can.)

“What We All Expect To Happen” Happens…

…on Raw.
