Hulk Hogan Suing Man Who Allegedly Leaked His Sex Tape to Gawker
– Hulk Hogan’s lawsuits over his sex tape aren’t over. The New York Post reports that in addition to his well-publicized lawsuit against Gawker — which Hogan won and caused the media company to declare bankrupcty in the process — the wrestling icon has a lwsuit going against agent Tony Burton and his firm, Don Buchwald & Associates, for allegedly sending the tape to Gawker’s A.J. Daulerio.
The outlet reports that suit was filed this last May and claims that Burton and his firm conspired to extort money from Hogan and also leaked his now-infamous racially-charged remarks. Hogan had originally claimed Gawker was responsible for the leak.
The Post reports that Burton’s insurance company filed papers in the lawsuit yesterday asking for the judge in the case to rule that they aren’t liable for paying if Burton loses the case. The company said that “plaintiffs have no obligation to defend” Burton and his firm “because he violated the terms of his primary and umbrella policies and therefore doesn’t qualify for coverage.”
