UPDATEDx2: Kevin Nash Arrested For Battery After Fight With His Son

UPDATE 2: The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports that Kevin Nash’s WWE Legends contract has been suspended as a result of the arrest. Nash signed a five-year deal with the WWE Legends program in 2011, which encompasses promotional and TV appearances.

WWE released a statement on Nash’s arrest earlier today, saying: “Kevin Nash has not regularly performed for WWE since January 2004. He is currently under a non-wrestling ‘legends’ contract, which has been immediately suspended until this domestic dispute is resolved.”

Port Orange attorney Mark Politis, who was speaking on behalf of the Nash family, said he “didn’t think the incident will affect Kevin’s WWE career.”

Politis also stated on the incident: “It’s an unfortunate situation. They’re a good family. I’m hoping the State Attorney’s Office will receive my information and dismiss the charges. The kid was out of control, and the father was defending his wife. I’m pretty confident we will have a resolution in the next couple of months.”

UPDATE 1: According to TMZ, here are the latest details on the arrest of Kevin Nash. In regard to Nash’s arrest, he told the police that his son (Tristen) came home “wasted and belligerent” towards him and his wife. Nash then says that Tristen spit in his face and then elbow checked him. Nash then claims to have pinned Tristen to the ground, and that is when Tristen scratched his face.

Tristen claims that Kevin was berating him over his relationship with his girlfriend and then “chokeslammed” him to the ground. Tristen claims he hit his head so hard on the ground that he blacked out.

The police arrested Kevin Nash because they felt he was the primary aggressor. Tristen was arrested two hours later after his uncle told police that Tristen was drunk and “slung his mom around the kitchen” and tried attacking him as well.

ORIGINAL: TMZ reports that Kevin Nash was arrested early this morning for getting into a bloody fight with his son Tristen. Nash is currently under contract with the WWE. He was taken into custody in Volusia County, Florida after police were called about a domestic disturbance after midnight.

When police arrived, they saw blood on Nash’s face and arrested him. Two hours later, they received a call from someone claiming that Tristen (who is 18), attacked his mother. He was arrested for battery as well. Police believe alcohol was involved. Both men were booked at a local jail and are being held without bond.
