* Jeremy Borash and Angle’s wife were at the event with him.

* He admitted he won’t be fighting for Bellator, just doing promotional work.

* He talked about the botch of the Shooting Star Press from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, saying the previous day he practiced it a dozen time and hit every one perfectly, and some times he was three quarters of the way across the ring. Said the match was cut by seven minutes, and Brock was nervous being in a World Title match at WrestleMania after only five months in the business.

* Said he suggested to Brock do the Shooting Star Press to give him that WrestleMania moment.

* Said he enjoyed the comedy skits he did in WWE more than any match.

* Said his greatest match ever was with Shawn Michaels.

* Said the greatest wrestler he has seen was Eddie Guerrero, adding that he had five star matches with Guerrero but by that point, he wasn’t the same Eddie he was a few years prior.

* Mentioned how talented AJ Styles is and how he never missed a spot.

* Talked about his comeback from painkiller addiction and his return to wrestling against Bobby Lashley in the UK, crying twice while talking about it all.

* Talked about a match he had with Rey Mysterio in Japan where he was so messed up on painkillers that he missed a spot where he was supposed to catch Rey but had his back turned and forgot.

* A fan in attendance told a story about how he was suicidal at a point in his life and reached out to Angle and how Angle exchanged several emails with him. He thanked Angle for saving his life.

* Angle joked that he loves the wrestling business so much that he expects to be in a wheelchair in 10 years.
