Heath Slater Taking Time Off To Deal With Arrest Warrant
December 28, 2014 | Posted by
– A report from Rajah speculates that WWE is giving Heath Slater some time off to deal with his legal issues regarding an alleged misdemeanor assault that took place at a WrestleMania 27 after-party in 2011. Slater hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since last month.
Slater last appeared at the WWE Smackdown tapings on November 25, which occurred a week before his arrest warrant was issued. Slater was replaced by NXT worker Tyler Breeze on WWE’s current holiday tour.
After the arrest warrant was issued, Slater proclaimed his innocence and said he was confident that the charges would be dismissed. WWE issued its own statement and said action would be taken after they received the details of the arrest warrant.
