Live Report From Last Night’s WWE Raw Taping

April 28, 2015 | Posted by Larry Csonka

From David and prowrestling.net:

No sections were tarped off. The crowds have gotten better in Green Bay over the years with lots of men, women, and children. A really wide variety and a lot more people wear shirts than they used to. Notable fans like Brock Lesnar Guy have also become regulars.

Green Bay is always pro John Cena and was again last night. He got the biggest pop as usual. They also loved Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

There was a huge pop when they went through “Signs of the Night” and one was “Bring WrestleMania to Lambeau Field.”

The “We Want Lana” chant got extremely loud, with not just men joining in.

Neville got an okay reaction when he came out but won everyone over by the end of the match. I even noticed some of the arena workers amazed by his offense.

Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel’s exchange was a big winner with the crowd.

The crowd was worn out by the start of the main event, but Randy Orton really got everyone hyped during it. The place went nuts when he hit the RKO and it was a fun main event. Three hours gets very long, but live it was a fun, solid show.

After the show, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury told the crowd to respect their champion and not call him Justin Bieber. Eventually, Seth Rollins said he had enough and said the Packers suck, Aaron Rodgers sucks, and the Chicago Bears are going to win the division to loud boos. It was pretty hilarious.

There was just one “Yes” chant all night and not a lot of Daniel Bryan merchandise in the crowd, at least that I saw. Hopefully he can get healthy. Also, I was sorry to come home and hear about the loss of Verne Gagne. Prayers to the Gagne family.

WWE is coming back to the Resch Center for Smackdown on August 18, the last show before SummerSlam. The presale code is “WWEGBPRE”
