Mark Millar Wants John Cena To Star In Superior

– In a post on Twitter, Mark Millar revealed that he wants John Cena to star in the film version of his comic Superior. He wrote:

Just watched @amyschumer'sTrainwreck & it's my fave comedy in YEARS. @JohnCena so funny in it I literally just requested him for SUPERIOR.

20th Centrury Fox acquired the rights back in 2014, before hiring a new writing team of Brandon and Phillip Murphy earlier this year. The comics follow a 12-year-old with multiple sclerosis who loves the comic superhero Superior. When an alien monkey appears and grants him one wish, he wishes to become Superior himself.
