Miami Makes Bid For Future WrestleMania

The Miami Herald reports that south Florida officials have submitted a bid to host one of the WrestleManias between 2018 (WrestleMania 34) to 2020 (WrestleMania 36). The city big to host the event at the unnamed Miami Dolphins stadium, which has lost somewhere around 10,000 seats during its revovation. The bid is a collaborative effort between the Dolphins, the AmericanAirlines Arena/HEAT Group, the Miami Beach Convention Center and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The site notes that organizers are optimistic about their chances. The last time WrestleMania was hosted in Miami was WrestleMania 29 in 2012. WrestleMania 33 is taking place in Orlando next year.
