Monster Factory: The Best Wrestling School in the United States?

Last July, I conducted an interview with the owner of the World Famous Monster Factory wrestling school, Danny Cage. Since that time, the Monster Factory has stepped up their game even further to become the dominant wrestling school in the country. What makes the Monster Factory THE school to go to for people interested in becoming professional wrestlers?

WHAT SEPARATES THE FACTORY APART

Danny Cage has turned the Monster Factory into one of the most innovative wrestling schools today. Besides the top notch training, Cage now airs a reality show on the Monster Factory TV Channel on YouTube. There you can watch firsthand what it takes to be a Monster Factory trainee. The reality show is not a scripted Kardashian type program. Instead, you get a 100% true life behind the scenes look at what makes a group of young, talented prospects into the future of the industry. Not only do you witness trainees, like Clutch Adams, Billy Damiana, Nick Comoroto, Miranda Vionette, Luis Martinez, and Matt Riddle busting their asses trying to take the next step in their careers, but you get to see the personalities behind the characters.

Each May/June, Danny Cage brings in Gerald Brisco to evaluate the Monster Factory talent to let them know what they need to improve on to become WWE Superstars. Brisco’s visits over the last three years has actually led to the WWE signing Steve Cutler to their developmental territory NXT. What other wrestling school can say that?

Another aspect of the school that puts the Monster Factory heads and shoulders above any other wrestling school is that several of their students have worked as extras for the WWE, and have had tryouts at NXT. These experiences of the behind the scenes workings of the WWE is invaluable to all of the students of the Monster Factory. Having the students being given opportunities to be that close to the WWE business is a huge motivation factor for their students.

While the Monster Factory isn’t alone in holding their own wrestling shows twice a month, they put on cards that are better than most indy shows. Not only does Danny Cage put his own students on display, but he also brings in talent from Ring of Honor, and legends like the Headshrinkers to work against their students in matches on the cards. Along with the cards, Danny Cage brings in names like Sean Waltman, Bob Evans, Rip Rogers, Cliff Compton, Stevie Richards, Les Thatcher, Kevin Kelly, Joel Gertner, Colt Cabana, Jay Lethal, and MVP to teach seminars and evaluate the students of the Monster Factory.

Of course, the biggest reason to join the Monster Factory is the training staff. Where else can you receive hands on training from former ECW Alumni The Blue Meanie and Bill Wesley, along with QT Marshall and former Monster Factory student/now owner Danny Cage? If you don’t think that these men are the best trainers in the industry, just watch Monster Factory TV on YouTube.

Why all of the Monster Factory love? Full disclosure, my brother, Clutch Adams, has been training there since October 2013. However, it’s not me being biased. I’ve seen how other schools are run. Outside of the WWE Performance Center in Florida, I can’t think of a more professionally run wrestling school in the industry. If you are looking for a school that will give you the best opportunity to become a professional wrestler, the Monster Factory is the best place to groom you for your new career. The alumni include Bam Bam Bigelow, Tatanka, Sheamus, the Headbangers, Cliff Compton, Raven, King Kong Bundy, D-Lo Brown, Chris Candido, Balls Mahoney, and even the Big Show. Apparently, the Monster Factory has to be doing something right.
