More Backstage Rumors for Tonight’s Royal Rumble Event (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

– To add some more fuel to the speculative fire on The Rock appearing at the show tonight, Reddit user metsfan4ever went so far as saying that The Rock will not only make an appearance at the Royal Rumble PPV tonight, but he claimed there had been discussions of The Rock actually winning the Rumble match. Currently, WWE.com is heavily teasing The Rock making an appearance. The article even went as far as teasing The Rock as a surprise entrant in the Rumble or possibly having “unfinished business” with Brock Lesnar.

Metsfan4ever claims there have been serious talks in the last few weeks in the WWE to have him as a surprise entrant tonight. The end result would be The Rock winning and go on to face Brock Lesnar for the title at WrestleMania 31. However, his Reddit post also claims that if talks fell through, The Rock was willing to appear on the show in order to put over Roman Reigns in a segment backstage.

He also claimed another possibility for the match is that Bray Wyatt would win. WWE backstage officials reportedly still have very high hopes for Wyatt.
