More Details on The Finish to Lesnar vs. Orton at Summerslam
August 23, 2016 | Posted by
– On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that the finish to the Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton match at Summerslam was supposed to have blood, but not as much as was produced when Orton got cut open by the elbows of Lesnar. Chris Jericho’s concern backstage was due to the amount of blood, as he was legitimately concerned for Orton’s health. The finishes to Lesnar matches are kept very quiet. Meltzer also said that during the Lesnar vs. Jericho confrontation that Lesnar “used a bunch of names that could probably get him into trouble if it came out.”
