More Details on Why Cal Bishop and Devin Taylor Were Cut From NXT

– As previously reported, NXT talents Devin Taylor and Cal Bishop were recently cut by WWE. Some more details have been revealed why they were released. PWInsider reports that both Bishop and Taylor had spent too much time in developmental without showing major strides. Considering that WWE was bringing in a new crop of talent into WWE Developmental, some cuts had to be made.

Taylor had been signed with the company for two years. She reportedly never found her groove as an interviewer. She previously appeared on NXT TV’s show as an interviewer who falls under the spell of Adam Rose’s partying charm.

As for Bishop, the former NCAA All-American wrestler had been in the developmental system for several years.
