Paul Heyman Negotiating New Contract With WWE – Will He Be At Summerslam?
July 23, 2016 | Posted by
As we previously reported, Paul Heyman’s contract with WWE expired in May and he has yet to come to terms on a new deal. However, Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Heyman is negotiating a new deal but it shouldn’t keep him from showing up at Summerslam.
The issue between both parties is reaching a settlement on the amount of Heyman’s outside projects. He signed a distribution deal with Yahoo Sports in March to produce exclusive content. He also announced earlier this year he was planning on doing a reality show.
PWS reports that it’s expected that both sides will eventually come to a deal so Heyman can be at Summerslam to lead Brock Lesnar to the ring for a match with Randy Orton.
