Pentagon Offered New Lucha Underground Deal
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Pentagon Dark (Penta 0M) had a meeting with Vampiro and Eric Van Wagenen to discuss the issue where he’s working for Crash, but is under contract to them (Lucha Underground). At the meeting, Lucha Underground offered him a new deal, with the promise that he would be pushed as the top guy in the company and make $1,500 per match. But the contract specified that wouldn’t be able to work for CMLL, Impact, The Crash or any promotion associated with Charles Ashenoff (Konnan).
During a recent interview, Eric Van Wagenen noted that anyone who quit AAA (like Penta 0M, Fenix and Sexy Star) are welcome back for season four of Lucha Underground. At this time, there are still no taping dates set for season four. There was again talk of a limited house show tour this year, but those plans fell through again.
