Richie Steamboat Suggests He’s Still Signed to WWE
March 4, 2015 | Posted by
– The Wrestling Observer reports that Richie Steamboat, son of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat, is still under contract with the WWE. In 2013, it was reported that he was released.
Steamboat hasn’t worked a match since late 2012 as a result of what was apparently a career-ending back injury. He recently posted on Twitter in praise of Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. You can check out his recent tweets below.
When I get back to @WWENXT and I'm fully healthy I'm coming for the World Championship…YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED…Mr. @FightOwensFight …
Very proud of @WWERollins . He's came a long way in this company from starting at the good ole FCW to NXT and now to WWE. Proud of him.
