ROH News: Young Bucks Now Hold Three Tag Titles, Elgin Makes Wrestling History
October 1, 2016 | Posted by
– With their win at ROH All-Star Extravaganza 8 on Friday night, the Young Bucks have become holders of three companies’ tag team titles at the same time. The duo now hold the Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Tag Team Championships simultaneously.
– The Wrestling Observer reports that with his match against Adam Cole at All-Star Extravaganza, Michael Elgin has become quite possibly the first person to main event or semi-main event PPVs in both Japan and America in one week. In addition to the ASE match (which was the semi-main), Elgin faced Tetsuya Naito at NJPW Destruction in Kobe on Sunday in that show’s main event.
