The venue was about 80 percent full. Really cool to be there. My first time in there and all the sumo wrestlers on the wall was awesome to see.

1. Neville defeated Kofi Kingston. Neville came out to a nice pop and New Day came out to a lot of New Day Sucks Chants. Neville and Kofi had some nice back and forth action and some fun interference by new day. Towards the end Neville hit a beautiful spot jumping of the rope hitting all three members on the outside. Neville won with the Red Arrow.

2. Cesaro defeated King Barrett. Some good 10 min back and forth action. Cesaro did the giant swing and then put Barrett in a Sharpshooter for the win.

3. Lucha Dragons defeated Los Matadores and The New Day. Fun match. Lucha Dragons got the pin.

Hideo Itami came out to a huuuuuge POP! He talked to the crowd in Japanese and then introduced Tatsumi Fujinami, who also spoke to the crowd in Japanese. A great moment with the crowd loving it and streamers shooting out into the ring.

4. Dolph Ziggler defeated Kane in a Tokyo Street Fight. A kendo stick was used and a chair. A “we want tables” chant broke out and Kane immediately went outside the ring and started searching. He found one and started to pull it out and just when the crowd got excited he dropped it and put it back. He got some heat for that. The match continued and a few minutes later Dolph pleased the crowd by grabbing a table. Kane later chokeslammed Dolph through the table and Dolph kicked out of the pin. A frustrated Kane grabbed another table and placed it in the corner only for it to backfire. Dolph put Kane through it and then hit his finisher for the win.

Intermission

5. Nikki Bella defeated Tamina to retain the Divas Championship. This would of been my piss break if it wasn’t for intermission being right before this match. Nothing Special. Nikki won with a roll up pin and then Paige came out and her and Nikki went at it. Paige then took the mic and told the crowd she will win the Triple Threat match tomorrow night on the WWE Network.

6. Finn Balor defeated Chris Jericho. Finn Balor had as nice a pop as I thought he would out here in Tokyo, but my goodness did Jericho. Y2J chants were strong! Very very fun match! It even got strong “This Is Awesome”chants. A lot of near falls but Balor got the win. After the match, Jericho took the mic and said that he requested this match because he heard Finn was great. He said he wasn’t as good as people said, he was better. Jericho wished him best of luck against KO in the NXT title match tomorrow night. They hugged it out and then Finn Balor addressed the crowd in Japanese, basically thanking them for all the support over the years.

7. John Cena defeated Kevin Owens by DQ. Very good match. Pretty much all the same stuff we saw from the matches on the networks with all the near falls. The crowd loved it and “This is Awesome” chants were loud and strong. Kevin Owens low blowed Cena and therefore Cena won by DQ. Afterward, KO gets ready to hit Cena with the NXT Title, but ended up taking an AA for his efforts to send the crowd home happy. I wasn’t too big on the finish, but I knew it would be screwy going in. All in all a fun night and my 5 year old son had a blast and that’s all that mattered to me.
