Shayna Baszler, Eddie Kingston & More at This Week’s Tryouts

– WWE.com has posted an article, discussing this week’s tryouts at the WWE performance center. The camp will see 19 male wrestlers, 19 female wrestlers and one female referee attending the tryouts. The site also notes that former MMA fighter Shayna Baszler and independent wrestling veteran Eddie Kingston are attending. It was reported earlier this week that Baszler would be attending.

Canyon Ceman, WWE’s Vice President of Talent Development, had the following to say about the tryouts…

“The fact that this is the most women ever at a single tryout reflects the rise of the Women’s divisions in NXT and WWE. This tryout includes women from all over North America, and more female athletes have been invited to a European tryout in November and an Australian tryout in December.”

CHIKARA posted on Facebook, noting that both Princess KimberLee and Heidi Lovelace were also in attendance.

Also spotted in the group picture on WWE.com are Nicole Savoy and Su Yung.
