Teddy Long Says MVP and Shelton Benjamin Returning to WWE
July 22, 2016 | Posted by
– Teddy Long claims that MVP and Shelton Benjamin are set to return to WWE. Long was a guest on the Gerwick Report Podcast and said he had run into MVP at a recent show, where he says MVP revealed that he and Benjamin are set to undergo medical testing which would be followed by a return. WWE has been seeking out former talent to return due to the Brand Split and a recent report said that Rhyno and Curt Hawkins were set to return.
For what it’s worth, MVP took to Twitter to downplay Long’s claims:
The same reports that had us at the draft? The ones that have us at the Rumble every year? "Reports"…https://t.co/v7mIbjX4lF
