TNA News: New Tournament Announced For Grand Championship, Bennett’s Bound for Glory Opponent Set

– Billy Corgan retired the King of the Mountain Championship on Impact tonight and replaced it with the new Impact Wrestling Grand Championship. A new eight-man single-elimination tournament was announced for the championship, which will be contested under the new MMA-like rules for the title as follows:
* Each match will be three timed rounds, with judges awarding the win based on points
* A pinfall or submission will end the match immediately with a winner.
– Dixie Carter “re-hired” Moose on Impact, naming him as Mike Bennett’s opponet at Bound For Glory. The event takes place on October 2nd in Orlando, Florida.
