Today Marks Deadline for TNA to Answer Its Lawsuit by Billy Corgan
– PWInsider has an update on the still currently ongoing lawsuit by Billy Corgan that was filed against TNA in the Nashville Chancery Court and some of the more recent developments in the case.
On November 14, the court issued an order that extended the defendants’ time to answer the lawsuit or please regard to the case, which would be until today (Nov. 22). In addition, the order said that the counsel for both Corgan and the defendants requested the order, and the extension “further the interests of judicial economy and efficiency.”
Per the report, this means the two sides have possibly reached a settlement, and it will be officially filed in court today. Or, the defendants will instead file some type of official response to the case. One response could be a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. It was reported earlier this month that Corgan signed a settlement with TNA and Anthem, and Corgan confirmed as such on his Twitter account.
