Total Bellas Rating Drops Back Down to Premiere Levels

– After seeing gains last week, Total Bellas more or less returned to its series premiere point in week three. Wednesday’s episode brought in a 0.32 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 625,000 viewers, down 18% and 17% from last week’s 0.39 demo rating and 756,000 viewers. The demo rating was still slightly head of the premiere’s 0.30 while viewership was down a hair from the premiere’s 632,000.

Total Bellas ranked #28 for the night among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily. The third presidential debate dominated the night, with the various cable news network’s coverage and post-debate analysis accounting for eight of the top ten slots (the other two went to American Horror Story: Roanoke at #6 and the NLCS game at #4). While the debate took place at 9 PM ET, it wasn’t time-shifted the way most scripted programming is so Total Bellas (airing at 8 PM ET/PT) was up against it in all the non-Eastern time zones, which may well have cut into its numbers.
