Update on Jimmy Snuka’s Terminal Condition – Possibly Not Cancer Related
– Reports that Jimmy Snuka’s doctor said he has six months to live are accurate, but it may not be from cancer. Despite PWInsider reporting that judge Kelly L. Banach “noted that Snuka has been diagnosed to have terminal stomach cancer” and isn’t expected to live beyond the next six months, reporter Sarah Cassi, who works for the local Lehigh Valley Times and broke the news, has clarified on Twitter that cancer was not mentioned:
To clarify, nobody said today it was terminal cancer- just that he's terminal. He's had other health issues since his last court date. https://t.co/RC806HGyvz

Cassi reports that Snuka’s lawyer, Robert Kirwan, said that Snuka has suffered from several infections was hospitalized Monday after his most recent one “led to psychosis and hallucinations.” Snuka’s health has improved since then but was not deemed fit to travel to his court hearing. He listened in via video conferencing. Snuka’s wife Carole said that Snuka is in hospice care and is receiving drugs — including morphine — to make him “medically comfortable.”
The judge has asked for copies of Snuka’s medical records for the past six months so she can review them before ruling on whether there should be another review hearing on Snuka’s competency, continue to trial or dismiss the charges.
