Update on Moose’s Status With ROH/WWE

June 30, 2016 | Posted by Larry Csonka

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Moose’s situation has changed over the last week. Word was that he was headed to WWE, and that he was originally expected to be part of their September NXT introduction class with Tommy End, Big Damo and others. WWE has backed off, reportedly due to a 2009 domestic violence allegation, which led to Moose being suspended for a game. Due to the recent situations with Adam Rose and Jerry Lawler, WWE is being extra careful in regards to anything involved with domestic violence.

While the door is not closed with WWE, Moose does have other offers. Both Lucha Underground and TNA have shown interest in him, with TNA reportedly offering him $100,000 a year. As far as ROH goes, they may still book him regularly (the door is open for him to stay), but the booking going forward doesn’t include him in anything major and they beat him on the PPV.
