Update on Reports That More People Watched NXT Takeover Than Summerslam

– It was previously reported that in the top 10 WWE Network shows of the week, that the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn special came in at #1, and that WWE Summerslam came in at #2. This surprised many that the WWE’s NXT brand could do more viewers than the second biggest PPV of the year.

Wrestle Inc reports that the rankings on the WWE Network site uses “an algorithm that takes into account VOD and when they were added, and they are not based on total views.” They say that it’s obvious Summerslam did more overall views, and that the top 5 has already changed since late Wednesday night.
