Update on Rusev’s Status for This Weekend

– As , Rusev was injured at Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings during his match with Ryback. Rusev suffered a lower leg injury, and was spotted in the airport wearing a walking boot. He had crutches with him and was in a wheelchair as he headed to his flight.

Rusev was scheduled to face John Cena in steel cage matches on the weekend live events, but wrestlezone.com reports that he has been pulled from those events ad replaced by Kane. Word is that if he cannot go on Sunday that Bray Wyatt will likely be his replacement.
