Update on Sting’s “Vigilante” Nickname

– Many people have noticed that the WWE has been referring to Sting as “The Vigilante Sting” recently. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the announcers and talent have been told to use the “Vigilante” nickname for Sting whenever his name is said on TV. This is said to be a mandatory directive to the talent with no exceptions.
