Update on When John Cena Will Be Taking Time Off From WWE TV

– There has been a lot of speculation on when John Cena will be taking time off to film American Grit for Fox. Following his loss to AJ Styles at Summerslam, Cena did not appear on Smackdown, and only worked dark segments at the TV tapings. This of course led to speculation that he would be already be leaving to work on the project.

According to wrestlinginc.com, Cena is not expected to take time off until mid-October. This is when tapings for the show took place last year. If the schedule works like it did last year, he will miss most of the remainder of the year.
