Updates On Possible WWE DVDs Coming In 2017 – CM Punk, Goldberg, More

Wrestling DVD Network reports that WWE has sent out a new “Fan Council” consumer survey with a list of possible WWE DVDs that could come out in 2017 and beyond. After that initial 21-DVD list, another list was revealed today. Both list include:

SID – The Ruler of the World: “A documentary following Sid Vicious’ start in Memphis to WCW to WWE back to WCW. Sid and others involved discuss his rise to the top as well as behind the scenes stories about his controversial departures from both organizations, as well as his career threatening in-ring injury.”

Mark Henry: “Mark Henry has been a WWE Superstar for 20 years and is a former Olympian. This will look at Mark’s life and lengthy WWE career.”

‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase: “Born into professional wrestling, Ted DiBiase’s legacy can be described as nothing short of “rich”! Learn the story of the Million Dollar Man from his beginnings in Mid-South Wrestling through his Hall of Fame commencement in 2010.”

Black History in WWE: “A look back at some of the great African Americans who blazed the trail for today’s current crop of talent. Profiles and matches featuring the likes of The Rock, Ron Simmons, Booker T, Junkyard Dog, Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas, Mark Henry, and more.”

From the Isle of Samoa: The Anoa’i Family Legacy: “A documentary that follows the long lineage of the famous Samoan family that has created WWE Superstars like the The Rock, Roman Reigns, Wild Samoans, The Usos, and Rikishi.”

Sheamus Experience: “Get a chance to follow Sheamus around on his daily routine to find out what makes the Celtic Warrior tick. Listen to him as he recalls growing up in Ireland as a fan, to beating John Cena for the WWE Championship in his first year in the WWE.”

Goldust: “Dustin Rhodes has been a mainstay in sports entertainment for nearly 30 years, transforming many times over that course. Whether as the cowboy son of the “American Dream” or the bizarre Goldust, Dustin has had a long, windy road to the present day.”

Undertaker: “The ultimate story behind one of the most respected Superstars in the history of the WWE. Hear from the man himself, as he explains the biggest moments in his career.”

WWE Health & Fitness: “In the same vein as the Hunter/Steph workout DVDs or DDP Yoga/P90X, different superstars are given the chance to discuss their workout regimen & diets. The superstar can then go through a workout of their own that the viewer can follow along with at home. Different superstars offer different workouts (Cena does arms, Kofi does cardio, Charlotte does yoga, etc.).”

Epic Undercard: “A look into the most popular superstars that get a great crowd reaction but aren’t usually in the main event. Ultimate Warrior: Unreleased Matches: “A collection of rare, unseen, and forgotten Ultimate Warrior matches never before released on DVD. 2017 marks 30 years since Warrior’s WWE debut.”

Shawn Michaels: Unreleased Matches: “A collection of rare, unseen, and forgotten Shawn Michaels matches never before released on DVD.”

WWE Live In (City)- Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles!: “A series of single-disc releases featuring some of the best matches that have taken place in a specific city. WWE Live in Chicago can include the Money In the Bank match between CM Punk & John Cena; Boston includes a rare Boston Garden match between Randy Savage & Ricky Steamboat. On-cameras discuss a little bit of the history of WWE in each city as well as setting up each match. These could be sold at live events in each city.”

The History of the Tag Team Championship: “This looks back at the long history of the WWE Tag Team Championships featuring the greatest matches for the titles.”

Kurt Angle: “Kurt Angle is the greatest “real athlete” in WWE history – watch a collection of his greatest matches and find out why!”
