WWE Cancels Rey Mysterio Storyline Plans

– The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE Creative was previously told to come up with a new storyline for Rey Mysterio. Per the report, the new storyline was apparently supposed to take Mysterio from around Survivor Series to WrestleMania 31.

Survivor Series took place, and Mysterio has still been off TV, so if the report is to be believed, the storyline for Mysterio was tossed aside. According to a previous report, the creative team was still thinking of ideas for Mysterio, but he was not interested in coming back to WWE. In addition, Mysterio was looking to leave WWE and work outside the company.
