WWE Contacting Asian Talent For Tournament Show
February 1, 2017 | Posted by
– The WON reports that WWE appears to be gearing up for an Asian tournament, similar to the UK Championship tournament that was held recently. According to the site, WWE has contacted talent in Asia about passport details and other information, which is similar to what they did in the UK to prepare.
The site reports that the process appears to be getting sped up “in response to” the WhatCulture Pro Wrestling 2017 World Cup tournament. Talent is being told outright that if they are signed, they will not be allowed any outside bookings if signed within the US, the UK and Japan in order to avoid confusion similar to what happened with the UK tournament.
