WWE Interested in Signing Jay Lethal, Gunner, Adam Cole
– According to WZ, WWE is interested in picking up Moose, Adam Cole and Jay Lethal from Ring of Honor, as well as the now-former TNA star Gunner. The site reports that the company wanted to bring in Moose as a “ringer” on the show and wouldn’t guarantee that he would be offered a contract if he didn’t win, but had offered the possibility. Moose very recently revealed that he signed a deal with ROH, which assumedly takes him off the table for the company.
Jay Lethal’s contract with ROH is apparently close to expiring, with no offer extended at this time. He just won the ROH World Title of course, and also holds the TV Title.
The site adds that in regard to Gunner, it was not his decision to leave TNA. No more details are available as to the reason.
