WWE News: Brennan Williams Says Signing With WWE Was Cooler Than The NFL, Cena Comments on Setbacks
– Former NFL player Brennan Williams, who recently signed with WWE, spoke with the Houston Press about his journey to WWE. Williams, a third-round draft pick in 2013 who made his in-ring debut for Booker T’s promotion as Marcellus Black, said of signing with the company, “My NFL experience had put me in a frame of mind where I always prepared for the worst. So [signing my WWE deal] was much cooler than signing my NFL contract. Seeing my name on the page with the WWE logo, it sent me over the hills.”
– John Cena posted the following to his Twitter account this morning:
Setbacks are an opportunity to rise again. 150kg #PSPR for the #GG @WWECesaro @WWERollins @TapouT #NeverGiveUp pic.twitter.com/YppI2h7wGt
