WWE News: Lesnar No Longer Advertised for January Raw, Lumberjack Match Advertised

December 17, 2014 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

The Wrestling Observer has a report on why Brock Lesnar is not being advertised for the upcoming January 19 edition of RAW. The show is currently being hyped by WWE as a Raw Reunion show.

Hulk, Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Shawn Michaels are all scheduled to appear at the event. However, Brock Lesnar is curiously not being advertised for the show any longer. The ad campaign for the show revolved around Lesnar, but the ads are no longer featuring any footage of him.

In addition, the show is expected to announce that WrestleMania 32 will be held at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The January 19 episode of Raw is also being held in the same city.

A John Cena vs. Seth Rollins Lumberjack Match is scheduled for the show. The match will feature 30 lumberjacks for “the biggest lumberjack match in the history of Dallas.” According to the Observer’s report, the Cena vs. Rollins match will be the actual TV main event for Raw, with all 30 men storming the ring as a preview of sorts for the 2015 Royal Rumble since Raw on January 19 will be the go home show before the Rumble event.
