WWE News: Final 2016 Tapings in Chicago, Ciampa Aiming For NXT Tag Titles

– WZ reports that WWE announced at last night’s Chicago house show that the company is returning there for 2016’s final TV tapings on December 26th (Raw) and December 27th (Smackdown). A pre-sale is currently going with the password CHICAGO.

– Tomasso Ciampa spoke with WWE.com about his final indy appearance tonight at PROGRESS Wrestling in London. Talking about his goal within WWE, he said that it is not the Raw Cruiserweight Title but rather the NXT Tag Team Championships alongside Johnny Gargano.

“Winning the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Johnny,” he said. “That’s our number one goal. We want to be the guys every single fan goes home talking about. We want to be major contributors to the continued growth of NXT on every show, every tour and every TakeOver.”
