WWE News: WWE May Have Issues Expanding to China, Daria’s New NXT Theme, Jericho’s New Ugly Christmas Sweater

– Reuters reports that WWE may have a tricky time expanding into China. CFO George Barrios spoke this week about the company’s desire to expand to the country, but as the news service notes their attempts could be shut down if Chinese regulators find them “inconsistent with the country’s values.”

WWE’s close ties to Donald Trump could be an issue, as Trump rallied people against China in his campaign and recently angered the country by accepting a call from Taiwan, which China doesn’t recognize as a legitimate country. Linda McMahon was selected to head up Trump’s Small Business Administration.
