WWE Not Expecting Daniel Bryan Back Soon?
– It would appear that despite Daniel Bryan saying he would like to be back by January, WWE is not making plans for such. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE does not have any plans for him and writers have been told not to work on anything for him until further notice.
The company has also reduced the price of his merchandise at arenas by 60% in order to clear it out, though it is noted that they’re doing the same for Rey Mysterio and Zack Ryder, both of whom are expected back. He is, however, being featured prominently in WrestleMania ads alongside Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Mark Henry, Bray Wyatt and Dean Ambrose.
The site adds that the reason Mark Henry is on the ads is to include an African-American in the show’s main ads. Another ad for the show located at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California has Randy Orton and Bad News Barrett instead of Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan and includes Big E. as well.
