-Triple H kicked off the event and was met with a great reaction. The fans chanted “thank you Hunter”; this is very loud, very excited group of wrestling fans. There are camera crews and its announced that some of this show will be taped for the WWE Network. In what capacity, we don’t know.
(1) Hideo Itami & Finn Balor def. The Vaudevillians
(2) Alexa Bliss def. Sasha Banks via count-out
(3) Baron Corbin def. Tyson Kidd. Corbin is usually pretty over, but Kidd got a great reaction and had his WWE tag belt with him. He ended up playing the babyface.
(4) Buddy Murphy & Wesley Blake def. Enzo Amore & Big Cass. There were chants for “Blue Pants” but she wasn’t there. Blake won via roll-up.
(5) Ryback def. Big Show with the Shellshock. The crowd was 150% against this match happening. Popular chants were “we want Divas”, “please retire” aimed at Big Show, “NXT” and “Blue Pants”. And of course, there were some CM Punk chants.
(6) Tyler Breeze def. Kalisto
-Ric Flair came out to hype up his daughter Charlotte.
(7) Charlotte def. Bayley
(8) Kevin Owens def. Alex Riley. Owens was over huge, and got the win with a pop-up powerbomb. He continued the attack after the match, but Finn Balor made the save before he could powerbomb Riley into the apron.
-Sami Zayn is out to a big pop. He talks about how proud he is of NXT and the roster.
(9) Cesaro def. Adrian Neville. This was said to be an incredible match.
An amazing night with an amazing crowd. Lots of surprises, even if the fans didn’t appreciate Big Show and Ryback. Again, we’ve got no idea what they actually taped for television but the Owens/Riley and NXT tag champions match are in line with current stories.
