WWE Q2 Financials: WWE Network Averages Record 1.52 Million Paid Subscribers

– The WWE announced today in their Q2 financials that WWE Network reached a record of 1.52 million average paid subscribers over the second quarter 2016. This represents a 25% increase from the second quarter 2015.
– The Network reached a record 1.82 million total subscribers following WrestleMania
– The WWE Network pulled in $51.8 million in net revenue, which is up $11.7 million from this time last year. The revenue for the Network was only $4.3 less than the TV revenue for the quarter; the TV revenue has traditionally been the company’s biggest revenue stream.
– The outlook for the Q3 financials is predicting a 1.49 million paid subscriber average.
