WWE Reportedly Losing Their German TV Home in 2017

– Over the weekend it was reported by several German newspaper outlets that WWE will be losing their current TV home in Germany. Accordant to Pwinsider.com, TELE 5 will not renew it’s current contract when it ends in March 2017, despite the fact that Raw is one of the top programs on the network. Stefan KastenmĆ¼ller, General Manager and WWE VP Europe, has stated that Smackdown may also move when its current deal with Pro7 Maxx ends in March 2017.
KastenmĆ¼ller says that WWE TV has a lot of interest from broadcast, digital and paid subscription channels in the market and expects that they will sign a new deal soon.
