WWE Trying to Sign Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo
October 27, 2016 | Posted by
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, international female stars Io Shirai and Kairi Hojo have gotten offers to start in WWE in 2017. Both have informed Stardom management about the offers, and Shirai has said that she is going. Sho Funaki contacted Shirai. Hojo was contacted by Shinsuke Nakamura and Simon Inoki, and has not made a final decision. There is a concern about her being able to pass a WWE physical because she’s had two major concussions in the last two years.
Stardom officials are working under the belief that Shirai is gone, but are still working with Hojo because she hasn’t officially made a decision about her future.
