“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Raymon Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest.”
UPDATE x2: TMZ also reports that Leppan is being held without bail until his arraignment.
UPDATE: According to pwinsider.com, here are more details on the arrest of WWE performer Adam Rose (Raymond Leppan). The site reports that they have received the arrest report, and that Leppan and his wife were involved in an argument about the state of their marriage. Leppan reportedly grabbed her face with his hands and pulled her close to his face as he screamed at her. His wife then called 911, but Leppan took the phone from her in an attempt to stop her from reporting the incident. Leppan grabbing the phone from his wife resulted in the tampering with a witness charge, and is a felony charge in Florida. He also admitted he did so to the police. The domestic battery charge is a misdemeanor.
ORIGINAL: According to tampabay.com (via Pwinsider.com), Raymond Leppan (WWE’s Adam Rose) was arrested this morning at 1:30AM ET. Leppan was arrested by The Hillsborough, Florida Sheriff’s office on charges of tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence.
Leppan is currently serving a 60-day suspension for a violation of the WWE wellness policy. It should be noted that under WWE’s Talent Programs and Polices, Rose is subject to a suspension for the arrest and a possible termination if convicted…
