Wyatt Family to Use Freebirds Rule With Smackdown Tag Titles

– WWE has confirmed reports from earlier this week that the Wyatts will be defending their Smackdown Tag Team Championships under the Freebirds Rule. The announcement noted that Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan have sanctioned Luke Harper as a co-champion along with Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton, making all three eligible to defend the belts.

That makes both Tag Team Championships under the Freebirds Rule, as the New Day have been doing so with the now-Raw Tag Team Championships since winning them at SummerSlam 2015.
