David Arquette Has Violent and Bloody Brawl With Nick Gage at LA Confidential Event
– WrestlingInc.com has some details on David Arquette facing Nick Gage at Joey Janela’s LA Confidential event last night in Los Angeles, California. A video of the match was also posted on Twitter, which you can see below.
During the match, Arquette took a light bulb tube shot, which caused cuts in his neck. He tried to get up and attempted to pin Gage, but Gage kicked out. Arquette then motioned like he was leaving, but then he eventually returned to the ring and laid down on the mat, looking for Gage to pin him. Instead, Gage tried to attack him with another light tube, but Arquette blocked the attack. Arquette then tried to hit Gage with a chair, but Gage then pinned Arquette after a throw.
According to PWInsider, some people were apparently angry backstage over how the match went down. Arquette was reportedly concerned about his cuts from being hit with the light tubes at the end of the match. He later went to the hospital after the match to get the cuts on his neck checked out.
