Jackass star Steve-O says that he was originally set for an appearance at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble. The 202 Rumble saw Johnny Knoxville appear and be eliminated by Sami Zayn, which led to a match between the two at WrestleMania 38. Steve-O noted on his latest episode of Steve-O’s Wild Ride that he was supposed to appear there but couldn’t because of COVID.
“I ended up testing positive for COVID and was unable to participate in the Royal Rumble,” Steve-O recalled (per Fightful). “I was going to be a henchman kind of thing. It was basically walking Knoxville out to the ring.”
Steve-O previously made an appearance on WWE TV in 2007 when he appeared on an episode of Raw.
