Activision has purged some of their licensed games from online stores. COGconnected reports that the company has pulled several games from online stores now that 2017 has come about and they include some of the oft-hated category of movie tie-ins.

According to the site, the game studio has removed The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had been pulled from Xbox One, PS4 and Steam stores, as well as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan from Steam with TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan also yanked from PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace. Meanwhile, Fast & Furious: Showdown has also been pulled.

Pulling games from stores is hardly a new development, although it was noted that Mutants in Manhattan was only out for eight months which is sooner than expected for a game that is tied to a profitable franchise. All of the games earned middling-to-poor reviews.
