– The games division for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced today that the company has opted to move its previously scheduled AEW Games 2.0 Show from December 30 to one week later. You can view the announcement below.

The statement noted, “With careful consideration, we have made the decision to push the http://2.Show to next Wednesday, January 6th following AEW Dynamite. #AEWGames”

As previously reported, tomorrow night’s episode of AEW Dynamite has been reformatted to serve as a tribute show to late wrestler Brodie Lee, who tragically passed away last Saturday. The show was rewritten to pay tribute to Brodie Lee (real name Jonathan Huber) and his family.

As a result, AEW has shifted it’s planned two-part New Year’s Bash special to January 6 and January 13. So, the AEW Games 2.0 Show will now happen next week. In light of recent events, it makes sense why AEW would want to promote the next gaming preview event.
