Apex Legends Global Series Kicks Off Autumn Circuit on October 3rd

The Autumn Circuit of Apex Legends’ esports competition arrives early next month. EA and Respawn Entertainment announced on Tuesday that the the Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) will continue with the Autumn Circuit commencing on October 3rd, featuring a prize pool of $500,000.

The ALGS is coming off a solid run in its Summer Circuit as, like most of the rest of the entertainment world, it was forced to acapt to the pandemic. The Summer Circuit series saw over 2,000 teams compete for a spot in the Playoffs, which hits its playoffs on September 12th and 13th which the top teams have qualified for. The Autum Circuit will do the same, starting October 3rd and running through the Autumn Circuit playoffs on December 19th and 20th.

EA will use cloud-based broadcast production technology in order to broadcast each circuit tournament’s final daue via Twitch and the ALGS YouTube channel. The dates for the Autumn Circuit are:

* Autumn Circuit #1: October 3-5
* Autumn Circuit #2: October 17-19
* Autumn Circuit #3: October 31 – November 2
* Autumn Circuit #4: November 7-9
* Autumn Circuit LCQ: December 5-7
* Autumn Circuit Playoffs: December 19-20
