Capcom Reveals the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

Capcom officially revealed today a special collection for the Street Fighter video game franchise with the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. The upcoming compilation release will include 12 games from the franchise, and it will be available for a multi-platform. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

The 30th Anniverary Collection includes 12 games from Street Fighter History. It’s due out later in May 2018, and it will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.

The games included in the collection are the original Street Fighter, Street Fighter II, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

The updated versions will feature an online mode for four of the classic titles and more gameplay options, including for Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. Online lobbies will support up to four players waiting to compete in Ranked Matches. Each game will also have its own set of Global leader boards.

The collection will also feature an interactive Museum with concept art, character bios, and trivia facts for each game release that gamers can explore with an interactive timeline. Players can also enjoy their favorite Street Fighter music with the Music Player feature.

Per Capcom, the collection will be available as a digital release and as a physical retail version for the console versions only. Capcom also recently announced the development of Mega Man 11 along with a new Mega Man X Legacy Collection.
