Rocket League’s collegiate Spring Season is a go. Psyionix announced on Monday that the game’s collegiate esport season will get an inaugural spring run.

The Collegiate Rocket League (CRL) 2018 season ran in fall and saw the first-ever National Championship take place in Arlington, Texas. The success of that season saw plenty of justification for the CRL to expand into spring. The official announcement notes that the Spring season will run differently compared to Fall, with four conference champions set to be determined in East, West, North and South regions. The conference champions will then do battle in the season’s culmination for their share of $50,000 in scholarship prizes.

Eight invites are set to be extended to teams that competed in Fall 2018 Conference League Play, with the remaining spots awarded to those teams that make themselves through the open qualifiers to be held on February 16th and 17th. Sign-ups are now open here through February 14th.
